>Acadian Memorial Festival scheduled for March 14-15
The Acadian Memorial Festival is scheduled for March 14-15 at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville. Events will kick off at 6 p.m. March 14 with a showcase of local businesses, music, food and art.

The theme of the event is “Tribute to the Spirit of Acadian Women.” On March 15, events will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include theater, culture, music, dancing, food, genealogy, lectures, exhibits and a re-enactment of the arrival of the Acadians on the Bayou Teche.
