There is also a website at the National Archives that offers tips and clues from Census records for genealogy taken from an essay, “Clues in Census Records, 1850-1920,” The Record, Vol. 4, No. 3 (Jan. 1998): 26-27

What I found the most interesting at the website was how to make your own microfilm reader. Check this link out! It is amazing. “…The flashlight is pushed through one of the holes and secured to the side of the milk carton…”
